Bank Holiday Easter Monday 24th March there will be an ‘Easter Egg Hunt’ held in the Local Nature  Reserve from 10-1pm, which is  being organised by the Quedgeley Parish Council and a BBQ organised by QACA.

23rd February (10.30 - 13.00) - Tree Grafting - Quedgeley Village Hall. The techniques of grafting will be explained and demonstrated. Rootstock will be provided for all participants to graft themselves and this can be taken away to plant in the garden, school or any other deserving location. It would be useful to get some idea of the numbers who anticipate attending this event so please let me know if you intend to come along and whether you’ll be bringing neighbours or friends. All that you will need to bring with you on the day is a pruning or similarly sharp knife.
For more details of these events please contact Howard Witton or download the leaflet here.

We will be shortly organising a youth membership scheme. The membership will be in two categories, Up to 12 years old and 13 to 18 year olds. The reason we want to set this up is to encourage the younger generation to “Get involved” in the Quedgeley Area. We will help start the groups up but it will be run separately, by the groups themselves. We will teach them how to form a Committee, how to run a membership database, how to hold meetings and how to produce a web site etc. We want to hear what the youths of Quedgeley, want to do to protect our futures.
We also want to hear from residents in Kingsway. We know about some of the problems they are
facing. And, we are aware of this “Them and Us” attitude. We would like to help form a Kingsway Conservation Society. If anybody would like to help us, please contact us.

17th January 2008 The QACA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in the Quedgeley Community Centre. Starting at 7:30pm

20th January (10.00 -12.00) - Tree Planting in the orchard. To celebrate Gloucester’s 1000th year as a shire we will be planting a number of additional tress in the orchard with the assistance of Justin Hobbs the GCC Landscape Officer (Trees & Development)
